Constellium N.V. (NYSE and Euronext Paris: CSTM) and American Corporate Partners (ACP) today announced a new partnership to help veterans transition to the private sector through one-on-one mentoring relationships with corporate professionals from the company. The program is designed to assist veterans in their long-term career development through mentorship, networking, and career guidance.
As ACP is receiving an increasing number of applications from veterans, Constellium volunteers from Ravenswood, WV, Muscle Shoals, AL, Van Buren, MI, White, GA, and Baltimore, MD, have signed up to become mentors and provide advice to returning military.
Jack Clark, Constellium’s SVP Manufacturing Excellence and Chief Technical Officer, and one of Constellium’s mentors, said: “This a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the life of a returning military veteran. Sharing our knowledge, expertise and network with a veteran can be enormously impactful and we are looking forward to giving back to our veterans.”
Martha Johnson, ACP's President: "Constellium mentors can make a significant difference in the lives of veterans by offering attention, support, and time to assess their career ambitions and to set a plan in motion to achieve their goals. We at ACP look forward to introducing Constellium mentors to veterans so they can work together on résumé writing, networking, interviewing skills and professional development."
